We can also provide independent engineering consultancy. Past projects include organisation of wind testing programmes for Group C and Formula One cars with our ex-F1 Aerodynamicist.

We can complete everything from ground up restorations to winter rebuilds, providing assessment of required parts and preparation of a restoration plan and budget. Cars are kept in our secure workshop facility and every aspect of the rebuild is completed in-house, restoring your car to peak racing performance.

We specialise in historic race cars, so it is essential that we carry the knowledge and expertise to re-manufacture specialised parts.

Our experienced engineers can design and create many bespoke parts in-house, as well as working from drawings, patterns and jigs.

Our portfolio of complete restoration and rebuild projects covers a broad range of makes and models including Formula One, Formula Two, Formula Ford, Group C and Group 6 sports cars.

Our own race experience and extensive knowledge of running cars for over 15 years, allows us to prepare each car to its maximum potential. Each car goes through a comprehensive geometry check before leaving the workshop for any race or test.

G-CAT Racing offers comprehensive race support for modern and historic cars, providing a dedicated team of race engineers as well as professional driver coaching and data analysis. We have our own race truck to transport cars, engineering kit and pit equipment and can also organise race entry and accommodation.

Our race support service can be further enhanced with professional in-car racing tuition, driver coaching and technical data analysis. Greg Caton has over 15 years racing experience and has supplied in-car instruction and data engineering services to Ferrari for over 10 years, as well as time working for Cosworth Electronics, supplying and supporting their products.

Cars are stored at our secure workshop facility in Maidstone, Kent with easy access to the M25 and to the Channel Tunnel rail link for European transport.

Our cars are kept in a tidy, well organised environment at all times, in alarmed premises with 24 hour surveillance.
